This may well be the best mix I've ever done (!!!!???), both technically and in terms of 'programming'. It's a fairly complex mixture of styles and the beat-mixing which really gets going by track 7 or 8 is fairly seamless if I do say so myself - just one or two minor mistakes - and all done before the time of Ableton, at least for me. Strictly two decks and a mixer and a stack of 7"s, 12"s & LPs!! Anyway. The mix goes all across the board: funk, acid, EBM, punk, house, soul, weird shit, barnyard anthems and disco. Deliberately takes a while to get going for those of you impatient to reach warp speed. But the warm up's just the ticket - and just as important - if you ask me. If you're impatient and want to go to hyperdrive asap, then tracks 7, 8, 9 are the lift-off section for phase 2. Acceleration to warp by track 12 and intergalactic cruise speed by track 13. OK? ;)
